About Samson

Meet Samson. He is a 4 year old purebred almost all white (with a few black spots) Great Dane. He is almost 140 pounds. He is neutered, chipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained; and amazing in the car! He came to us from a home that bred danes. They bred both of his parents and kept him. Animal control came in and they were forced to find a place for him as they had too many dogs on property. When he came to us he was a mess.. but he had no problem jumping in my car, didn't even have to ask him!!! He knew he was safe with us, and the journey has been quite amazing! He had a severe infection in one of his toes and after my vet examined him he said there was no other option other than to amputate his toe. At the same time he was neutered we also had his ears flushed and cleaned as they were filthy, he also had to have his gums cut back over his k9's due to a gun infection left untreated, he also needed a mass removal on his hind leg which we Sent off to have a biopsy done. It came back as a localized mass cell tumor. My vet said that it is likely to return, but one of the least type of tumors to come back quickly and if it does it's just about keeping it removed as it can never fully be taken out. Aside from that he is AMAZING! He is all healed, and even with his results the vet expects him to love and live as if nothing ever happened to him! He is as vibrant of an energy you will get in this amazing beautiful breed and he will simply be your best friend. He is amazing with all dogs, great with children, amazing with people, and loved my vet and his staff! He has been through a lot, but you would never know aside from the physical scars , he has conquered life and is finally really to have a family all his own! His fee is 1200.
