About Bear Bear

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Introducing Bear Bear, the 40 pound, 2-year-old Chow Chow with a fuzzy red coat and gentle brown eyes. This guy has got it all - adorable looks and a nice personality! He's a laid back and calm guy who likes to take his time exploring and getting familiar with new people and places. Bear Bear's foster family tells us he is an independent dog who will let you give him attention and affection when he is feeling frisky, but overall does well at keeping himself entertained. He loves to make play bows and to play keep-away with plush squeaky toys. Once he knows and has chosen you as his person, he loves to give and get hugs. It is quite a sight to see him when he gets a huge grin on his face as he grabs any nearby toy, runs away, tosses it in the air, misses catching it, falls over to pick it up, and on the run again. He is such a character, once you are his family. Bear Bear is always excited about food, and treats and snacks are always appreciated, and funny enough, he does like to move his food bowl around. He is house trained and leash trained. He is looking for a family who knows and loves the Chow charm. Bear Bear had previously been shaved down and we are unsure if his coat will fully return in some places.
