About Ruth

Abandoned on a baseball field, Ruth is a diamond in the ruff. With a soft coat, pets are a must with her! Ruth is a 36 lb, 1.5 yr old hound mix with love to give. This affectionate girl is all about her humans and giving love. She is good with dogs, though cats are unknown. Ruth appears to be house and crate trained. Ruth is spayed, current with vaccines and waiting for her grand slam family in Harrisburg, PA. Ruth is finishing her heartworm treatment and is expected to have no residual side effects. Tested with cats- did not display aggression, just inquisitive. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
