About Samson

One look into these soulful eyes and you cannot help but to fall in love with Samson. Samson is a 125 lb, 5 year old Great Pyrenees who, thanks to the donations of our amazing adopters and supporters, recently underwent heartworm treatment. He has finished his period of bed rest and is ready to settle in with his forever family. Every ounce of this boy is pure sweetness. While he interacts with other dogs with no issues Samson definitely prefers being near his humans more. He loves a good nap in the sun and belly rubs. If you rub under his ribs just right, you are certain to start his hind leg twitching. Samson is housebroken and, though he prefers his freedom, he is crate trained, and is up to date on his shots and being fostered in York, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
