About Yukon

Everyone meet our new boy Yukon! Yukon is a 2-year-old male mixed breed dog. He appears to be primarily a bully mix but we cannot guarantee the breed of any of our dogs. He currently weighs in at around 65 lbs. Yukon was rescued from CACC after being near the top of their euthanasia list for several weeks in a row due to overcrowding in the shelter. Yukon is a big cuddle bug when it comes to being in the house. He is super gentle and sweet with the kitty he currently lives with and loves to sit with him on the couch and watch movies. Sadly, once he starts HW treatment, Yukon won't be able to do much for 6 weeks due to needing to rest. Luckily he seems comfortable in a crate so this shouldn't be a struggle. Yukon is friendly with other dogs and cats. He has not been tested with kids. When you are contacted, you will be told if your application is approved or not. If it is we will proceed with a meet and greet. After everyone has had a chance to do a meet and greet we will then proceed with the adoption to the selected family. If you comment 'interested' that does not count as an application.
