PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR BRAVA'S ADOPTION: 1. 6 FOOT FENCE. 2. NO SMALL CHILDREN 3. SHE CANNOT LIVE IN AN APARTMENT, TOWNHOME, OR ATTACHED LIVING. 6 month old female herding breed mix, about 15 pounds. Brava is an active, bouncy herding dog type. She has a softer temperament and is not as drivey as her brother Custer, but just as active and athletic. She tends to be the submissive one of the two to both humans and dogs. She would love to have another dog to play with but tends to bond to her human. She can also settle and snuggle at times. She can easily go over baby gates and shorter fences. 6' fenced yard required. NO small kids as she has shown some tendency to be quite afraid of small humans. She is just a puppy so she needs all the things a puppy needs including manners, training, socialization and house training. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
