PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT FOR DIVA: 1. NO CHILDREN IN THE HOUSEHOLD 3 year old female chihuahua/rat terrier mix, about 6 pounds. Diva is a spunky little girl with a huge personality and a lot of love. She has sparkplug energy, but she's also happy to have some snuggle time on the couch under the covers. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom and furry foster siblings. Diva will let you know when she needs to go potty, she is trained to use puppy pads, but she prefers to go potty outside. She has so much to offer! Diva is beautiful, with an amazingly soft coat! Because she is so smart, she will do best in a home with someone who is experienced with dogs that tend to be somewhat 'bossy' with humans as well as other dogs. She thrives with structure, but she can get a bit nippy, so no small children for this girl. She does well with the 'boss' of the house, Miss Kitty, but she's also happy to eat her food and surf the counters with absolutely no guilt. Diva is guaranteed to give lifelong smiles to the right forever home. Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
