About TITAN

Be sure to read ALL information provided. TITAN was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas where dogs often have only 3 days to be saved. TITAN is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm/tick disease tested negative for all. He is de-wormed, monthly preventatives and microchipped. At the time of rescue at the end of November 2020, he weighed around 89 pounds and has an estimated date of birth 10 December 2019. We cannot say for sure what breed he is, so we expect families to do their own research on his look and size and decide what breed you think he is and if you have the lifestyle suitable for his needs. At the time of writing TITAN has only been at the rescue a few days and so there is not much information that can be provided. TITAN is a very sweet boy who is craving attention and lots of love. He has been quite since being here at the rescue and he did have a collar on, which suggests he was most likely an owner surrender to the shelter and he is most likely very confused as to what has been happening to him the past few weeks. He is very gentle, but seems he could be a little protective over his food if other dogs are nearby - this is only because he gives a low growl, but has shown no signs of aggression. However, it is always best to be cautious when new dogs go to new homes. TITAN is a big handsome boy with a huge personality, a huge amount of energy and an intelligent mind. We are looking for families that have active lifestyles to ensure that he is given what he needs to be happy and healthy. We are not able to say how he will be around cats or livestock. All dogs use dog doors to go out and do their business or to enjoy the cool, fresh weather in their dog runs or communal areas. We cannot say if a dog is house-trained, however, we expect families to understand that all dogs need a transition period and accidents could happen and training is most definitely needed.
