About Dexter

Dexter is an energetic bundle of joy sure to keep you on your toes! He has spent the last two years learning how to steal human and canine hearts alike. Dexter would make a great companion for a family, as he is excited to share his love with both people and dogs. He is a fast learner and responds to commands and hand signals well. This good boy is so smart that he is top of his canine class--he's even house trained! He does well in a crate with a little reassurance and a blankie. Dexter's favorite time of the day is running around outside and playing with his friends. A run a day keeps the cabin fever away! After he gets his fill of playtime and exercise for the day, he is more than happy to settle down for snuggles with his humans. He is looking forward to his new owners showing him that walking calmly on a leash is the mark of a mature doggo. At 66 lbs, this gentle giant may sometimes need reminders that he is bigger than he thinks he is-but that just adds to his charm! Dexter has a huge heart and can't wait to meet you.
