About Jodie

Jodie warms up quickly to familiar staff at the care center, but does present as initially wary and requires a slow approach. Her previous foster reported positive behaviors in the home setting, and only reported that she will need continued training for her strength and leash pulling. Due to an incident regarding Jodie and an off-leash dog that ran up to her resulting in a bit incident, Jodie will require placement through a New Hope Partner that can help her sensitization to other dogs. Jodie previously lived in a home with children and is suitable for a home with children over 5 years of age, with an experienced foster. 'Jodie is 6 years old. She is very sweet and loves to be cared for! She is house trained and very good with children, but prefers a home without cats. Jodie sleeps freely in her bed in the living room of the house. She pulls on a leash and will need some training to become a great walker. But she is very intelligent and we think she will learn fast! We think the perfect home for her would be a house with a backyard and if you choose her, you will always have lots of love and kisses!!!
