Buddy is a 9-10 year old Rat Terrier and Min Pin mix. Buddy got his name because he is everyone's Buddy. His favorite place to be is in a human's arms or lap. Buddy does well with other dogs and would enjoy another dog his size or a little larger to play with. His favorite buddy is a female Golden Retriever. Young children would probably scare Buddy. He would like a fenced yard so he can run and play safely and humans who are home often. Buddy was a stray dumped on Amish Boulevard in Hazelton. His rescuer spent three days sitting on the side of the road tossing food at him in the ditch trying to get Buddy to come to him. Buddy was scared of humans, someone had not treated him kindly. Buddy was emaciated and his eyes were very dry, matted and infected. Buddy is back to a healthy weight and has seen the doggie ophthalmologist. His eye infection is gone and he sees out of both eyes. The vision is one of his eyes is not 20/20. Neither of his eyes produce enough tears to keep them moist and he needs moisturizing drops in his eyes three times a day. These drops cost about $30 a month. Buddy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm tested. He also just had his teeth cleaned.
