There's much that we don't know about beautiful little Beatrice. We don't know how old she is, but she's estimated to be at least 15. We don't know her story because she was a stray picked up by animal control. However there's much more that we do know about this 8-lb Rat Terrier with the low-ridin' look of a Teddy, or Type B, Rat Terrier. We know that her teeth used to be in wretched condition and caused her great pain. Now that all but the two lower canines have been removed, Beatrice feels ever so much better. We know that she's in remarkably good health and has no conditions that require meds. While she's past her playful stage, she gets along nicely with other dogs and cats. She earned the name Beatrice because of her love of skittering about like a busy bee. She doesn't like to be held, but we know she loves to snuggle. She also likes to be fed her by hand. She eats better that way, and we know you'll enjoy the bonding experience as much as she does. Beatrice isn't house-trained, but we know she'll do her best if you're vigilant and offer her frequent opportunities to go outside to potty. There's one more thing we know about this sweetheart--Beatrice believes there's somebody who can't wait to make her golden years the very best! So be that somebody! We know that you won't regret it. ------------------------------------------------------ IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING BEATRICE, please go to New Rattitude's website at https://newrattitude.org/adopt/, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.
