About Edison (FKA Stitch)

Edison (FKA Stitch) is a two-year-old, 38-lb Australian cattle dog mix currently being fostered in Sarasota, FL (Sarasota County). Like his namesake, Edison is extremely smart and picks up new behaviors quickly. Because he is deaf, he uses his other senses to explore the world. He is such a fun dog to walk, because he loves using his nose! Edison responds to vibrations and will look towards the place the vibrations are coming from. Edison requires the use of a vibration collar to help get his attention when he is not looking at his person. This guy is the perfect athlete! He enjoys his toys and being in the middle of the action. He loves to run, watch for movement like lizards, and playing with other dogs, although he is still learning some 'big dog' language. Edison also loves training and having time with his people. Edison is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, house trained, and crate trained. He requires a home with a fenced in yard.
