About Petey

Look at 'em ears! This is Petey, our shelter survivor. He is still waiting for his forever home! He'd love an individual or a couple who is willing to give him patience, time and space he needs to feel safe and comfortable in a new place. He would however jump in your lap when he's ready, and allow you to pet him! He would lay on the couch or in bed with you, and get love and affection from you! He does great with other dogs. Doesnt care much about cats. No children, please. He'd love to go to a forever family, who has a home or townhome with a backyard as he enjoys leisure activities in the backyard too much. Petey LOVES chasing butterflies and moths ... and he loves basking in the sun!! He also likes to put himself to bed every night. He often jumps up in his foster's bed, and nuzzle his head to lift the comforter, and then crawl underneath it and burrow himself and go to sleep. Her foster said it's the cutest thing ever!
