MEET Sassy SASSY was found in CA at the boarding place where ADR.org is boarding their rescue dogs. The mom could be trapped, spayed, and released back. The 7 kittens could be trapped as well but as they were all very weak and did not get enough milk from the mother, ADR.org worked with the boarding place to keep them. In the 2 months they were nurtured back to health, they became more social and are now outgoing kittens. Given the fact though that they grew up feral, the kittens need to be inside only cats. SASSY is a very shy still but warms up if you let her come to you on her terms. The founder of ADR.org living on Orcas island, WA is hosting the 'crew' until the one and only home is found. ADR.org will have a thorough adoption process and will need the potential adopter to come and meet the Founder F2F and can then at the same time of course meet the kittens (we will be keeping masks on, and respect COVID-19 requirements). Prior to a meeting, an adoption application will need to be filled out, photos (yourself, your family, other dogs or cats you might have) will need to be sent and a phone call to get to know you better will happen. ADR.org would like to eventually have each kitten go into a home with another cat. To have a single cat all day long alone at home, would not be fair. The kittens stand their ground to a dog that is NOT prey driven. Playful dogs will be just fine.
