About Charlie

Adoption Fee: $375
Treeing Walker Coonhound
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Charlie is a very handsome, sweet, and gentle Coonhound in need of a loving family. He is estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs around 60 pounds. This kind-hearted fellow was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky. He is now in a wonderful foster home in Chicago but would love to meet his forever family soon. Charlie can be a bit timid when he meets new people and when in new surroundings but he warms up quickly. Once he is comfortable, he is extremely affectionate and loves to give tender kisses to his humans. He loves to go for long walks and enjoys romping in the yard but also loves cuddling up on the couch at the end of a long day. He is being fostered with other dogs and gets along well with them. Charlie is also crate trained and does very well with his housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. This stately pooch will make any hound lover very happy and he would love to meet you soon! Charlie is scheduled to be neutered on 12/8 and will be ready to leave for his new home after his surgery however we are currently accepting applications for him now. He can be seen by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved. For more information or for an application, please email [email protected] or visit palsplacerescue.org to complete an application online. His adoption donation to the rescue is $375.
