About Myers

Myers is a handsome 7 year old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a loving forever home. Myers will need a mature family of dog savvy adults with no children under 18. Myers is easily spooked and is likely to scream like a woman from a horror movie when he is truly scared. Myers is a food motivated boy who will warm up quickest if you use french fries to win over his love. Myers is a lady's man who would likely be happiest with a single female owner. Myers tries to be a superhero and fly off of your lap, the back of chairs and has no fear of heights, so he will need to be watched to protect his little legs. Myers will play hard to get, but once you win him over he will be more affectionate and loving than you can imagine, but will probably still be awkward when you pick him up. Myers is a very active boy who loves to play and will require a VERY secure yard as he is an escape artist (door darter and tries to find exits). Myers is a good boy who patiently waits while you are gone, but will be SUPER excited when you return even if you were gone for a minute. Myers is a petite guy who loves to run at your feet and doesn't realize he could hurt everyone, so he is not a good fit for walkers, canes, etc. Myers seems to be house broken and will jump on you then the door to signal when he needs to go out, but remember dogs may need patience adjusting to him in a new home. This lady's man to be the only man in your life, he gets a bit jealous sharing his person's love with other dogs. He weighs in fully grown at 12 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200 which includes a free vet visit.
