About Ripley

11 mo. old, 35lbs. This boy has a sad story. He was found in a ditch on the side of a road in rural TN, most likely hit by a car. He was brought into the shelter with a broken leg at only 6 months old. Thankfully rescue pulled him out of there and did the surgery to repair his leg. After 8 weeks of limited activity and rehab he was ready to come up to us to find his new family. He is a bit hyper...can you image being a puppy and having to be in crate for 2 months to heal??!! Who can blame him!! Best home for this boy will be a highly active home!! He loves to play and go for walks. He needs to keep busy! Still puppy like, pre-registered obedience classes are required to teach this youngster some basic manners. Kids 12+
