**ADOPTERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO DRIVE TO CHICAGO, POSSIBLY MORE THAN ONCE-- if you live too far, please do not inquiry as animals will not be shipped** Her Story Jazzy came to Famous Fido Rescue when she had a health issue called pyometra, which is a condition that affects dogs that have not been spayed. She needed immediate care, and without it, she likely would have developed septic poisoning and likely have died. Jazzy then joined our intervention program, where we offered to help her guardian with Jazzy's medical care, but after the surgery, her person decided that she did not want Jazzy back. She is now safe and as healthy as she can be, and waiting for her forever home at Famous Fido Rescue. Since Jazzy has been here, we have seen what an absolutely sweet dog she is. She loves cuddles and treats (although she would benefit greatly from a healthy diet) and is really well potty-trained to go outside. She even behaved really well for our groomer. Ideally, we would like to get Jazzy into a calm home, where she can be loved and spoiled for the rest of her golden years. She will need someone who will take things at her pace, and give her all the time she needs to settle in. Jazzy may do well in a home with kids older than 15 and dogs her size. We are unsure about cats but can test for serious inquiries.
