About Nyla

Nyla was left behind when renters left. The home will be sold Jan 4 2021 and has to go. She is in the empty house alone 23+ hrs. a day. She loves attention, likes to be brushed and is litter box trained. Local shelter is full, last resort is the pound. Please help even if you can foster her until her forever home is found. Willing to work with you on transport. Vet documents will be delivered with her. She lived with kids 9 & 10 yrs old, small dogs and other cats. We took her to vet to be sure she was spayed and FIV free. She is now up to date on vaccinations as well. When we go over to feed her, she runs to the door to greet us. Doesn't play with toys that we can see. Is very interested in people and doesn't shy away from strangers. She has the run of the house and since there isn't any furniture has resorted to using the counter top to look out the windows. Very healthy and is gaining weight now (8#) since we can't be sure when we will get back to her and leave too much food. She has been alone since November 16 and I'm sure that has an effect on her, but I'm not sure what it is. Kind of a small cat, only about 14 or so inches from neck to tail. She is worth the trouble, we just can't take her home. If the local shelter won't take on the first week in January we may have to leave her at the local county pound. Neither place is the best. Please help us help her.
