36 Lbs 9 mos I went nuts over NUGGET (#A1959104), when I met her at the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, where she had entered as a 'stray.' I was at the shelter to take photos of a few dogs, and 9-month-old NUGGET was brought out to the yard. When she entered and the leash was removed, she ran over and leaned her body against my legs. I couldn't help but wonder how her family hadn't come to redeem her. Clearly, she had been loved, as her coat was clean and soft, and she didn't appear fearful of strangers. NUGGET was playful, as most pups are, but when a treat was offered, she came running, showed she had learned the 'sit' command, and took the treats gently. She was the easiest dog to photograph, too. Here's some nuggets of information to ponder: NUGGET still has some growing to do; she'll need exercise and training; and, like all pets, she is not an outside-only dog; and she deserves a family who understands the meanings of 'commitment' and 'responsibility.' Please network NUGGET for a rescue/adopter who will go nuts for her. Call the shelter at (888) 452-7381 for more information and to make an appointment to nestle her, forevermore. 36 Lbs 9 mos
