About Baxter & Boo Boo

Baxter and Boo Boo may be 7.5 years old but truly do not act anything like their age! Baxter is an outgoing Miniature Pinscher mix who weighs 13.6 pounds full grown. Boo Boo couldn't be more his opposite as a shy Schnauzer/Poodle mix weighing 16.6 pounds full grown. Baxter makes sure all humans are cleared to be friends before Boo Boo will make an introduction. Both boys are good with all adults and have lived with children as young as 5 years old. Baxter likes to use his voice when first greeting strangers and Boo Boo will follow along. They would not do well in an apartment environment with the amount of songs they love to sing. Baxter and Boo Boo love going out in play groups with other dogs their size. They have also done well with cats in their previous home. Both boys will require potty training in their forever home. They are both kennel trained, know how to use a doggy door, and ride well in the car. Baxter and Boo Boo would make a great addition for almost any environment. They can keep up with older kids who love to go outside and play or couch surf with lazy adults as long as they get play time. Both boys love going outside and would do best in a home with a securely fenced backyard. While here at AZSDR, Boo Boo recieved a dental cleaning and had a total of 12 teeth extracted. Baxter was not in need of any extractions but will be due for a cleaning within the next year. Boo Boo will require regular grooming. They are neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. The adoption fee for the pair of $350 includes a free vet visit.
