About Cooper

COOPER 1 year old Jack Russel mix Cooper is one of the most loving dogs you'll ever meet. He wants to cuddle and socialize with EVERYONE! You'd never guess from his constant playfulness that he has a heart condition, but Cooper has a grade 5 murmur and a hole in his heart. He is not in pain, but the resulting cardiac strain will shorten his lifespan to a range of 2 to 3.5 years of age. What this special boy needs is a family willing to love him through whatever time he may have left. One of the happiest dogs we've ever had at the shelter, Cooper is living every day to the fullest.
