About MayLou

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. MayLou is a sweetheart of a gal who enjoys attention and affection from her humans. She is a 6-year-old, 65 pound Shepherd mix who is a terrific companion and friend. MayLou's foster mom tells us that she is good when left at home alone, and will generally just nap on the couch, or bird watch out the window. She doesn't even need to be crated. MayLou is a calm and more laid back type canine, so she would prefer a home where there is not lots of hustle and bustle. She walks well on a leash and likes going for walks around the block and in the park. MayLou is house trained already and when she needs to go out she will let you know. We were told she loves kids and has lived with cats too. She has lived with other dogs before, but does prefer to be the only dog or be with similar, calm dogs like her, who keep to themselves and lazily spend their time.
