About Quitman

Quitman! This handsome 6-8 mth old lab mix recently joined us at DTR and has immediately endeared himself to everyone. Quitman was originally found as a stray down south with a large wound on his leg, but luckily he found a wonderful foster home that helped him heal and has only had wonderful things to say about him. Although he can initially be nervous and timid upon meeting new people he adapts quickly and gets used to new surroundings. Once he knows you he loves to snuggle with both people and other dogs. His foster family describes him as a total love bug. Quitman loves other friendly dogs and would be happy with canine pals. Quitman is good in a crate and working on housebreaking. He knows how to sit and give paw and would love a family willing to continue working with him on the training all young pups need. Quitman is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on basic vet care
