Hi, my name is BEN - ID#A4488886. I am a neutered male, black American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 77 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Oct 20, 2020. Ben is a happy pup who loves treats. He is very treat motivated and will sit for them. He needs to be the only animal in the home, and have time to decompress and become the awesome dog he is. He is not doing well in the shelter environment. This happens to all social animals eventually when they have been incarcerated for long periods of time. They need social interaction whether with other dogs or people.
