Koby arrived at the shelter as a stray, but the shelter managed to track down a former owner, who explained that Koby is very protective of his property. He will guard against strangers who come to the house or into the yard, and will bark at people who approach the car if he's inside. His former owner reported that Koby did well with their children. That same wariness with strangers has been a barrier to Koby's adoption. He hasn't bitten anyone. He's not aggressive and actually LOVES showing off his commands! Watch him with Jill--he'd only just met her! But this gorgeous boy needs a breed-savvy owner who can train him to act appropriately in the home. In the meantime, the shelter says he is declining in his kennel and needs out. They have sent out an urgent plea for him.
