About Max

PLEASE READ MAX'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING. ALL REQUIRMENT MUST BE MET IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. Meet Max, our handsome little fellow who is full of life and pep! Max is a 1 year old 14lb Maltese/Poodle/Terrier mix. We got this sweet boy when his owner realized she didn't have the time for him while working long hours. We are ONLY looking for a home that has another YOUNG and VERY VERY PLAYFUL dog like Max. He CANNOT be an only dog. This little guy will come to you very scared and nervous and will definitely take some time to warm up to you. He is a dog that you need to realize that will not come to you with open arms or even let you pick him up willingly for at least a couple weeks and because of this reason, he cannot go into a home with young children. Max is a VERY spunky and vivacious dog and needs an equally active home that will play with him and take him on runs/walks. He loves running and sprinting through the yard, so we are only looking for a home that has a safe and secure backyard. He CANNOT be an apt/condo type dog. Max is still considered a puppy and he still acts like one by chewing on everything and anything he can get a hold of, so this is something to consider. He is slowly growing out of it, but it is something to think about. We do not crate our dogs and do not want Max crated. He LOVES being on the furniture with you, so we need owners that are ok with letting their pets on the couch and sleeping on the bed with them. With outdoor access and time to get used to his new surroundings, he seems to get the hang of potty training pretty quickly. Max is just a silly and lovable puppy who needs a home that is patient and loving and will give him that time to acclimate so he can feel safe and cherished. Max is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. WE ONLY ADOPT IN LOS ANGELES AND SURROUNDING AREAS AS A HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED.
