About Seamus

Our sweet senior, Seamus, is ready for a family of his own! He's is about 10 years and is an old Irish wolfhound/ Great Pyrenees mix. Seamus is very laid back and would love to be in a calm, quiet household. While Seamus enjoys affection, he will not seek it out. Pets are fine, but treats and food are really his love language! He likes to play to a point. He was great in temporary foster home with a male and female dog and enjoys some play with one of the males in his current foster home. However, the alpha male in his foster home & he don't seem eye to eye, so no alpha dog males for him. A doggy meet & greet is REQUIRED. He is good with cats. He knows most commands and is completely house broken and can use a dog door. He startles from his sleep, likely due to some loss of hearing at his age. So NO KIDS UNDER 16. Seamus is neutered & UTD on vaccines & preventatives. His bloodwork looks great and this handsome man has a date with the dentist to make sure he has a great smile for his new family! He has some arthritis in his hips but that's fairly normal for his age and it doesn't slow him down. Hip & joint supplements are highly suggested. He's currently in a foster home in Bumpass VA. His potential adopters need to be willing to drive to his foster home or with in an hour or 2 of foster home for the doggy meet and greet. His adoption fee is $100 because he is a senior.
