About Sam #2

Sam #2 is a very happy and smart boy. Sam #2 loves, loves, loves to play fetch. This handsome, big boy would love an active family to go on walks/hikes or a home with a large fenced in yard. Sam needs a strong leader willing to take the time to be consistent with manners. He is a quick learner and learns best after a rigorous playtime. His reward for responding appropriately to a command is only a ball! He gets along with other dogs. He is very interested in cats but may just be playful rather than predatory. For the right owner, Sam would make a magnificent companion. Sam #2 is about 3 years old and 78 pounds. **We currently have two dogs with similar names. Please make sure to write 'SAM #2' on your application to avoid any delays in processing your application. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
