About Lila

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I would do best in a home with only adult humans. I am not one to sit still and will love interactive playtime in my new home! I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy. Lila Bug was originally brought in as a stray but was noted to be friendly around strangers by her foster. During intake Lila Bug had a loose and wiggly body when counselor approached but became uncomfortable, whining, pacing and panting when she heard other dogs. When Lila was being put in the kennel she began to pull towards and started growling at the neighboring dogs and tried to push her way back out of her kennel when placed in the kennel. While at the care center she has been social with handlers and has been noted to pull towards dogs exiting the dog room as well as barking at dogs outside the door while in the behavior room. Lila has a bite history having gotten out of her collar when on a walk with her fosters and bitten and held a small dog that was very close to her.
