About Bowie

Bowie is a very handsome, 3 year old Catahoula mix that weighs approx. 50 pounds. Bowie loves head scratches and being with his people. He would make a great walking partner as well as a great Netflix partner. Bowie gets along with other dogs but would suggest dogs his same size or larger. Also, due to his size, older children would be best. Bowie is up to date on all his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. WE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT CAT COMPATABILITY. IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU WOULD NEED TO READ BELOW. Please understand, our dogs are shelter dogs. We do not know how or why they ended up in the shelter. We have very little, if any, information on their prior training and behavior. Please be prepared and committed to train/retrain, your newly adopted pet. Please tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city in which you live, other pets in your home and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you - the better. What can this companion expect from you and what are your expectations of him/her. If you do not provide this information, do not expect a reply. Seriously- if you don't take the time to tell us about yourself and family- you will not get a reply. This is not a first come placement. There is a placement fee to offset care and medical.
