About Mario

When Mario first arrived at the shelter, he was completely terrified. He didn't want to even get out of the truck. But our volunteer gave him some much needed attention to show him that Shelter day is a fun day! After a few minutes of reassurance, he started to warm up and show off that gorgeous smile. He tested well with other dogs and ran away from the cats when they hissed at him. Mario knows at least the sit command, possibly more. Mario is a great dude who will make a great addition to any home, once he has a little time to adjust. Adopt this handsome fellow today! Mario is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. He will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home.
