About Mr Smee

Mister Smee is very affectionate, likes people and is very housebroken. He rides well in a car. In play groups he is tolerant of others but prefers to do his own thing. He is affectionate and gives lots of kisses. He really enjoys squeaky toy, plush toys, and tennis balls. He LOVES the ball most of all. He's learned the two ball fetch, he does well with the 'drop it' command once he sees the other tennis ball. If you throw a plush toy he will get it and run around the yard with it. Sometimes he would rather just lie down in the sun by the pool. He is a good leash walker with just a little pulling when excited to first go out. In the foster home he is quiet and well mannered. The foster family states 'I would describe him as smart, well mannered, friendly and affectionate, calm, medium to low energy except when fetching the tennis balls then he is high energy. He calms back down very quickly after a ball fetching session. He adapted very quickly to this home, even with all the comings and goings of new people and dogs. Our Son's girlfriend and her English Bulldog are here staying with us for the weekend. The two of them have been just fine together.' He is also very treat motivated and he knows the sit command. He seems to be at peace with the world and enjoys lounging near your side when not chasing the ball. He is very attentive to his humans and loves to give and receive affection.
