Lark arrived with Mallard, Puffin, and Magpie. They were all transferred in together from a regional rescue. Before that, they were seized from a hoarding situation. Obviously, they have been through a lot in their lives already. The good news is that they are still very sweet and forgiving dogs. They would be delighted to find new families to nurture them as they continue to grow and learn. After their rough start in life, they are very nervous, but adjusting quickly and easily, and are so sweet and gentle! They are currently learning to walk on a leash, which is completely new to them. They also seem to be comfortable with other dogs, which is not unusual in a hoarding situation. Lark's breed is only a guess. She is 61 pounds, tall and thin, with a gorgeous long face and a speck of blue in her eye. Lark is spayed, current on core vaccinations, microchipped, and has tested positive for heartworms. She is will be treated and available to go home as a foster-to-adopt. Email [email protected] to inquire about this awesome program!
