About Hannah

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Hannah is part of a 6 dog cruelty case. These dogs were left chained without food, water, or shelter. Doesn't she just have the sweetest smile? All Hannah wanted was to play with other dogs and was eager to get love and attention from the volunteers. She needs leash work as well as training on basic manners. She and the other dogs of the cruelty case seem to have had very little socialization, so they can be a little over eager around new dogs. None of them showed signs of aggression, they mostly wanted to play with other dogs but were too excited, which made the other dog nervous. We are confident that in time they will learn what a great life a dog can have with proper care. Hannah knows at least the sit command and was very gentle taking treats from volunteers. Can you help Hannah get a new leash on life? Hannah is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. She will be vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home. To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com. Disclaimer: Most dogs are picked up as strays and are mixed breeds. Breeds listed are only guesses based on appearance as we are required to select a predominate breed.
