About Delta

November Update: Delta was still a bit camera shy, but much more relaxed with volunteers. She was totally content soaking up some ray while getting her belly rubbed! Poor Delta was pretty camera shy when we we had her out. She was very skittish and uneasy with the other dogs when she first got out, but she did relax and started to enjoy her time in the play yard. When retested with another dog, she did fine with the mellower dog. She acknowledged the cats and then walked away. Delta is a petite girl though it doesn't show in her pictures. We will try again this weekend to see if we can get her personality to shine through in a photo. Delta is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. She will be vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home. To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
