About Bear

November update: Still that lovable goof who wants nothing but belly rubs! How is this dude still in the shelter! We just saw Bear a few weeks ago, but how can you resist not playing with this teddy bear! Such a lovable goof! Meet Bear! This guy is just that: a big teddy bear. He loved getting attention from the volunteers and did well with other dogs. He is more on the submissive side and would lay down to play with other dogs. He is a huge fan of belly rubs! We did not test him around cats but can do so if a rescue or adopter is interested. Bear is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. He will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home. To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
