About Willis

Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis? This is a question often asked to Willis by his foster family. You see, Willis has quite a story to tell. This guy found himself stuck at a high intake/high kill shelter as just a young pup. He was pulled by a rescue and then quickly abandoned again back to the same shelter after he misbehaved a tad. No one had ever taken the time to teach Willis how to be a good boy and this nearly cost him his life. Willis is only 7-8 months old and - just like any other teenage boy - he needs a home to provide structure and guidance. He's more than happy to behave when given the environment that allows him to do so. Willis has been hard at work on behavior modification training in his devoted foster home. We've promised him we aren't like those other rescues that throw their hands up over a small misstep. He's currently working on sharing his toys, taking walks, and remaining calm during high energy times. And you know what? He's KILLING IT!
