About Caesar

Caesar is a handsome gentleman who weighs in at about 70 pounds. He is currently being fostered in Clermont, FL (Lake County). He found himself in the shelter after his owner had to go into a nursing home. Caesar has a gentle nature with people, but he also has an active side. He has taken to watching squirrels and always tries to give them a good run to the tree! Caesar loves to go for walks and does best with a harness. He is still learning the finer art of walking by your side and requires a younger handler due to his size and strength. Caesar is very good with other dogs, and he can be calm and gentle with others. He loves his dog bed and napping is one of his favorite pastimes. He is crate trained and house broken. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can explore his surroundings. Because of his size and activity level, he would do best in a home with older children. He has a touch of arthritis and some senior lumps and bumps that are being checked out. This all around good guy deserves a soft, comfy bed, a loving stable family, and a couple of good natured other dogs to make his world complete. And lets not forget the squirrels!
