About Diablo

I am desperate to find a good home for my sweet five year old bully - Diablo. He is crate trained, he is housebroken, he follows basic commands, he loves people and he's a good with children. He is neutered. He has all of his vet records for each year of his life at one clinic. He even has a level two certificate from obedience school. He is my sweet boy and I am heartbroken to give him away. But he has always been really aggressive with other dogs. He recently bit a dog and in order to keep the victim's owner from reporting him to the county, we agreed to find another home for him. We are working very hard to find someone who will keep him safe and be good to him. Most people get angry with us when we say we are looking to give him away and say that we haven't trained him well but we have done all we know how to do. He is simply too strong for us. I am willing to drive him anywhere in the southeast if we know we can find him a good home. My biggest fear is he will end up with someone who wants him to fight other dogs. If anyone here has recommendations or contacts of people who may be willing to take him, I would be so grateful. Also, if you have any ideas at all, I would love to hear them! *Just to make it clear, we would be doing a process with rehoming him - to include an interview, a visit to us and a home visit - maybe more than one. I know this might be really extra - but he cannot end up in a fighting ring or something like that. Sorry.
