About BOOMER

*** POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE DOG CANDIDATE *** 'BOOMER' is a 2-3 yr old, 108 lb., smooth-coated St. Bernard mix male we rescued from a very high kill dog pound. Boomer is a super sweet, happy-go-lucky, silly and charming fella that is incredibly friendly and good natured. Boomer is just a big ol' love bug who adores affection and cuddling. Boomer loves to play and loves other dogs, but sometimes doesn't know his own size and strength, bouncing into them which can be intimidating to the other dogs, so he needs playmates of comparable size. An athletic, outdoorsy home would be ideal for him. Due to his size, children 10 years and older would be optimal. Boomer is neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
