About Buddy

Buddy is an 11-month old hound/beagle mix that is around 40 pounds. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He is a very high energy dog, therefore needs a owner who is willing and has the time to take him on daily walks. He also loves to run and makes a great jogging partner. His ideal family will have a fenced yard for him run around in and maybe a teenager to play with rather than younger children because he plays a little rough with the little ones. He seems to get along with other dogs so would most likely do well with one his size or larger to play with. We adopted him in the summer with the hopes that he would be a good fit for our older, smaller (9 lb ) dog, but unfortunately their personalities clash and she is constantly fighting with him. He has been through training classes and knows the basics such as sit, lay down, bed, crate, but still needs some work on jumping up to give you love/play, or to reach any food left on the counters.
