About Kami

While Kami could probably pick up signals from the International Space Station she is keeping an ear out for a loving forever home. Could it be yours? Kami is an approx 8 mth old petite female pit mix who was recently found as a stray in South Jersey and not reclaimed. Given her skinny condition and behavior it's ilkely Kami has not had lots of socialization and exposure up until now. She was at first unsure of how to play with other dogs (but still very interested in making new friends) but has really started to settle into our playgroup and loves being with other playful dogs. She is a bit nippy with people, not so much aggressively as just not knowing how to communicate and interact with people. We are hoping for a family willing to work with her on training (she also needs lots of work in the housebreaking department) and teach her how to live in our world. She does love to be around her people and wants to please. She would be fine either as your one and only or being adopted to a home with a tolerant dog. She should not be placed with young kids at this time, just due to her puppy nipping. Kami's adoption fee includes her spay, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip and basic vet care.
