About Maize

'MAIZE'Is an Incredible Dog that I had purchased for my 18 year old son 2 approximatemately 2 1/2 years ago from a 'BLUETICK' Breeder in Plant City Florida. Maize was an Adorable puppy and has been quite a joy to raise. However, he takes a great deal of work. I've cleaned to many Baseboards (Tiny Dog Hairs,lol); there goes the back and knees. He too LOVES being on the Furniture which I am NOT a fan of. My son tried to turn him into a Maltese. Its tough when I'm training him one way and my son the other. There's also the obvious reason of him Barking. He bark's a great deal. It can be quite annoying at times just to be honest. Being that I live in St Petersburg where homes are quite close I am sure neighbors are not overly excited. HE too brings dirt in the home from outside and leaves quite a few 'LAND MINES' for me to clean-up in the yard. I just have had to many surgeries as a Service Connected Veteran and can't continue keeping up with him. Its just to demanding on me now. The main reason though that I want a Nice Loving home for 'Maize' where he can Rome and Enjoy the great outdoors is that it suits him better as a Bluetick Hound. I think he needs more stimulation, fun-playful time and just being what his breed is meant to be. My son is leaving for the University and I cannot handle all the work required of 'Maize' ... I LOVE him TREMENDOUSLY... But I want what's best for him...
