He's excelled with clicker training while at the shelter and has learned a paw target to turn on a push light. The volunteers note he is a tennis ball connoisseur, but is a bit of a treat shark. We think he would probably be best with older children so he doesn't accidently overwhelm them with his size and enthusiasm. Elmo has met other dogs in playgroup and sometimes he comes off a bit overzealous; he calms down after a bit of play time, so if you have another dog in the house, an introduction would be a really good idea. Elmo also seems pretty non-reactive to the other dogs he's walked with, although sometimes he will bark at them in greeting.
