About Brady

Brady was rescued off the streets of Bosnia in 2017 and has been living in Virginia since being rescued by our organization that same year. Due to unexpected changes in his previous owners' health and living situation, Brady was relinquished back to our organization. Brady is a sweet chunker who loves chasing his ball and going for walks. Brady is very passive with both male and female dogs and does not show alpha tendencies. He is very strong and can be a bit powerful and pulls when on a leash when he sees someone unfamiliar or another dog/wildlife but shows the ability to be corrected so a family with a strong pack leader would be best. He does not bark much but when he does it is a very high pitched bark. He has had recurrent issues with his skin which appears to be dry skin/dandruff. He has been on steroids in the past and medicated shampoo treatments, and the steroids have contributed to him being overweight. His weight can be mitigated with adequate and regular exercise - he has been going on daily walks with his foster family and is losing weight. He gets along with most other dogs after being properly introduced and integrated. His breed mix is unknown. Brady turned 4 years old in October 2020. He is over 50 lbs with a medium build. His new home should have a large contained area to run and play. Brady has not been cat tested. His previous home did include other dogs including Lola, his packmate who was also relinquished.
