He is one part snuggly hippopotamus and one part bull in a china shop. Danny Boy knows basic commands, including 'paw' and loves to engage in playtime (he is fantastic at fetch!). He also likes socks or kitchen towels and will delightfully try to steal them if given the opportunity. He's ok on leash, but will pull when he sees something of interest��%BD'��%BD|a squirrel, another dog, an Arby's drive through. J And sometimes needs to be reminded of his manners. Dan the Man is a professional sniffer and would enjoy leisurely walks that let him explore on his own schedule. He is currently decompressing in his foster home and is under the impression that it's always playtime if his humans are near. He's learning that it's ok to relax on the couch sometimes and is open to learning, especially is food is a motivator. Danny Boy is one large and in charge chunkster. This porky pup tips the scales at 92 lbs, but his goal weight is 75 - 80 lbs. He says it's just water weight, but we know that's not true. Danny Boy loves working hard to get every last morsel out of a frozen Kong and absolutely adores eating whipped cream from a can (don't we all!?). We love that he can be bribed with goodies, but his perfect family would help him diet down slowly and safely to his goal weight. He is a bit of a wrecking ball, snores like a Mack truck, and is captivatingly sloppy in the cutest way possible. Mr. Thunder Thighs has the cutest eyebrow wrinkles in the Northern hemisphere and his stocky body is reminiscent of Santa with his bowl of jelly. Danny Boy will waddle into your heart faster than Usain Bolt running a 100-meter dash. We think his ideal family would be experienced owners with love and patience to spare!
