About GINA

GINA is an adorable (per today 11/14) 3 months old Chow/shepherd/Australian kelpie mix (Father is Chowchow, Mother is Shepherd Kelpie mix) that will be coming to WA (Orcas Island, where ADR.org is located) via transport before Xmas . Mother and father were in a CA shelter (Monterey) and were on the euthanization list because to the wildfires in August in CA, the shelter was regularly putting down dogs to 'make room for other dogs'. The puppies (7) were born in freedom at the boarding facility in CA on 8/29. Her siblings Kylo (male), Aisha (female), Enzo (male) and Rufina (female) will come up in the Thanksgiving week. The founder of ADR.org living on Orcas island, WA will host the 'crew' until the one and only home is found. ADR.org will have a thorough adoption process and will need the potential adopter to come and meet the Founder F2F and can then at the same time of course meet the puppies. Prior to a meeting, an adoption application will need to be filled out, photos (yourself, your family, other dogs or cats you might have) will need to be sent and a phone call to get to know you better will happen. And ADR.org can send videos to you, and photos of Mom and Dad. ADR.org would like to eventually have each dog go into a home with another adult dog that will further take the puppy under his/her wings. The puppies can also be adopted in a pair. All puppies are fully vaccinated, except for Rabies vaccination that can only be given when they are 4months and above. They are also not altered yet because they are way too young.
