About Goose

Is your New Year Resolution to be more active? Do you want an easy walking partner to get started? Goose walks nicely on a leash; our Junior volunteers love walking Goose, too. He rarely pulls and if you even jog a little he stays right beside you. On the flip side; Goose is at that perfect age where lounging around is a great activity. If lots of activity isn't the kind of dog you are looking for Goose is a great fit. He's an easy going boy!! He knows SIT, PAW and learning DOWN. He is a pretty quick learner and happy to please his people! Goose is food motivated so learning new tricks would likely be fairly easy. He'd be happy to travel in the car with you as well. He has riden with many of our volunteers and is a great co-pilot. He won't 'bark' directions or corrections while you drive :)! Even though he will play a bit of tug-o-war or fetch a ball with you; he'd be just as happy relaxing next to you; high energy he is NOT! He is a 5-yr old GENTLEman; 60lb male Boxer mix. He loves everyone he meets and is a quick to give you a little kiss! He has been good with older children and very polite with excellent manners. Goose does need to be the only dog. As part of Goose's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
